GISLER SCHOOL CELEBRATES ‘THE LITTLE MERMAID’ PRODUCTION

Gisler Elementary School recently showcased its vibrant community spirit with a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) production of ‘The Little Mermaid.’ This production was led by a creative team of directors and choreographers at Top Hat 8 Repertory for the second year in a row. More than 100 students participated, forming three casts for six unforgettable shows.

FVHS GRAD NIGHT 2024

The Senior Class of 2024 from Fountain Valley High School will celebrate their graduation with Grad Night to be held on June 12. This year’s theme is “A Knight to Remember.” This private event will take place at the Fountain Valley Sports Park the night prior to the opening of Summerfest to the public.

V ista View Middle School’s elective esports program, now in its third year, is making big strides. Led by teachers Stella Lee and Danielle Staton, Vista View’s esports program recently competed in regional and national competitions and walked away with a team trophy.

The Fountain Valley High School Varsity Cheer Competition Team showcased its talent, precision and teamwork by taking first place at the World Class Cheerleading Tournament of Champs competition on Feb. 3 in Los Angeles.

Girls’ water polo season has arrived, and with it, a change to the Fountain Valley High School team’s usual routine. With the FVHS pool undergoing construction, the Barons now practice at Marina High School.

On Nov. 30, two Fountain Valley High School students, Aidynn Arias and Andrew Pham, attended a master class led by the renowned Michael Bublé. This rare opportunity, facilitated by FVHS choir teacher Kevin Tison, offered them a chance to perform for and receive feedback from the music icon.
