The Fountain Valley High School Baron Baseball program kicked off their season in style on Saturday, Jan. 27.

Lilia Vu clearly is one of the most successful and heralded athletes ever to come out of Fountain Valley High School. Vu, you might recall, was among the top prep golfers in California during her playing days at Fountain Valley.

Though there was no contest played, Los Amigos High School celebrated an historic victory on the afternoon Tof Monday, Aug. 7.

Culture Football Club (FC), a local soccer club, created a splash at the recent 2023 Iber Cup in Estoril, Portugal. The Iber Cup is one of the world’s largest international youth soccer competitions, pitting elite soccer academies from around the globe against each other in high-stakes, high-level matches.

Even when off strike, Hollywood writers could not have scripted a more dramatic ending. Following the completion of its new $8 million athletic facility, Los Amigos High School played its first-ever onsite varsity football game, and the Lobos finished it off in style with a last-second 28-27 win over San Bernardino High School.

Five years ago, siblings Andersen and Kaitlyn Nguyen made some headlines as members of a karate team out of the Fountain Valley branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley's Clubhouse Academy while competing at the USA Karate Nationals in Reno. This year, these two budding athletes excelled on the national stage and also made their mark on the international scene.
