The City of Fountain Valley Egg Hunt was an egg-celent event. However, due to the Easter weekend weather conditions, the Recreation and Community Services Department had to pivot the event from outdoor to indoor.
While some originally planned activities had to be canceled and could not be held indoors, the staff worked hard to ensure the Recreation Center was festive and full of fun opportunities.
On Saturday, March 30, participants enjoyed egg hunts, pictures with the Easter Bunny, carnival games, face painting, sponsor and instructor booths, raffle baskets, arts and crafts, and a spinning wheel of prizes.
Over the three and half hours, the Recreation Center hosted 1,300 people who enjoyed the FV Egg Hunt.
This event was possible thanks in part to fantastic volunteer groups: Amuse for Autism, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Valley.
